This provides a general overview of the Slack channels that are accessible to individuals in the organization.

frc_community_mechanical	#frc_community_mechanical	Private	Focused on the mechanical technical community.
frc_community_media	#frc_community_media	Private	Focused on the media (photography, videography, animation, documentation) technical community.
frc_community_programming	#frc_community_programming	Private	Focused on the programming/C&C technical community.
frc_community_safety	#frc_community_safety	Public	An area for a discussion of safety concerns and topics. May be used later if there is interest in reestablishing the safety technical community.
frc_general	#frc_general	Private	General discussion on FRC content. This channel can also be used to relay information that may only be relevant to FRC students (e.g., internship opportunities). All students and mentors should be in this channel.
frc_ipt_awards	#frc_ipt_awards	Private	A discussion area for the awards IPT. This generally focuses on how we plan and prepare for winning awards at competitions. This can also cover submitted awards.

frc_ipt_strategy	#frc_ipt_strategy	Private	An area to discuss both general strategy topics as well as issues related to match strategy and alliance selection during competitions.
frc_ipt_travel-planning	#frc_ipt_travel-planning	Private	This channel focuses on the planning for FRC events. This includes logistics, packing, hotel reservations, and itineraries.
frc_mentors	#frc_mentors	Private	A channel for the mentor leadership to discuss various topics.
frc_queue	#frc_queue	Public	This channel is used during competitions to connect to the Nexus queueing software.
frc_realignment	#frc_realignment	Public	This channel has been used as a forum for a discussion of the IPT focused realignment.
frc_robot_showcase	#frc_robot_showcase	Public	This channel is a place to post interesting robots. All discussions must take place within a thread and the OnlyThreads software enforces that.
frc-system-core-alpha	#frc-system-core-alpha	Public	This is an area for a discussion of the SystemCore alpha testing.
frc_attendance	#frc_attendance	Private	If you aren't going to be attending a meeting, please post that info in this channel. All students and mentors should be in this channel.
gstems_entrylog	#gstems_entrylog	Public	Any and all issues related to the entry system should go into this channel.
gstems_fundraising	#gstems_fundraising	Public	Focuses on efforts to raise money for the organization.
gstems_it	#gstems_it	Public	Direct any IT related issues to this channel. This includes email issues.
gstems_outreach	#gstems_outreach	Public	Discussions of outreach and public relations events should occur here.
